The recreational cannabis market is starting to gain a lot of attention in the USA as more states are pushing for legalization. Last year, we saw Virginia, New Mexico, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island all fully legalize recreational cannabis.

Before legalization, you would have to rely on various questionable sources for your cannabis needs. Most of the time you would only have the option of flower and if you were lucky they would also have some edibles. Now, these were certainly not the edibles you currently see on the shelves at your local provisioning center.  

These days, Michigan’s recreational market provides a multitude of options for your cannabis needs, readily available on their shelves. Keep reading to learn about some excellent products you’ll find at our rec provisioning center!

 

Cannabis Edibles

Aside from the OG classic that are infused brownies, you can find an array of cannabis edibles on the shelves at your provisioning center. Cannabis sodas, gummies, infused products like honey or oils, and elixirs, are just some of the items you can find to satiate your palate. 

If you’re looking for some edibles at Ounces, a favorite is the Cannalicious Recovery (Mango) at 200mg a pack or 20mg per serving, which has a more Sativa-leaning effect when you are consuming this gummy. If you’re looking for chiller, more Indica-leaning vibes we suggest trying the Wyld Marionberry edibles at 100mg a pack or 10mg per serving. 

Although each recreational market is a little different based on the state you’re in, the dosage for most edibles on the shelves are between 5mg-10mg per serving. Depending on your tolerance, this is typically a low dose. 

You’ve probably heard the phrase “go low and slow” when learning how to dose your cannabis products. If you do happen to come across some high doses, make sure to portion your edibles accordingly. Not everyone’s endocannabinoid system can handle the same dose in the same way!
